A break from everything

Apollo's body tensed, forming a human shield to his friend behind him, "Well that depends on what you've been hearing." A smile comes to Apollo's cheek. The wind too blew Apollo's hair, but because of how Merrik and Apollo were facing each other the wind just blew Apollo's hair back revealing the full frame of his face.

As apollo steps in front of lena she gets behind him and whispers in his ear with a sad voice "please dont i wont be able to stop my self if you get hurt again"

Apollo looked over his shoulder towards Lena, "Don't worry about me. Just make sure you're safe." His head snapped back to Merrik, once again locking eyes with him.

Looks over to Nyx with eye to eye contact and begins to speak with a hurt tone in his voice. "Nyx........ You know im not bad........Please tell him to step down......."

Utter silence fills the air. "I see......"

Apollo heard what Merrik said to Nyx, so he allowed himself to relax a little. "See now if you were doing your research right then you would know. I won't fight... Unless needed." He took a few more steps forward, till he was about 2 meters away from Merrik. A few seconds of silence went past, until Apollo raised his hand waiting for Merrik to take it.

"Your move."

"You trust."He says in a bit cheerful manner. His face instantly changes to the exact opposite expression and whispers "Dumbass....." pulling out two pistols from his now removed sweater with incredible speed one already fired directly into the lycans right shoulder. Eyes as cold as snow, face without expression, he watches the blood splatter over the grass tainting the fields calm aura with a the evil melodies of war. Without caring to see if Apollo was dead, he instantly appears behind Lena placing both his guns on the opposite sides of her head. He then whispers "Still have no will to fight?" while adjusting his body behind hers to prepare himself for any reversal she through at him.

Apollo looks to where his blood splattered. The down to his shoulder, the flesh began to push the bullet back out from his shoulder till it feel to the floor, still covered in his blood. The wind calmed, the only feeling left was that of the two creatures about to take things further. He turned to face Merrik who now was holding Lena at gun point. "Now... the first mistake you made was shooting me, the second was choosing her as a way to scare me into fighting." Apollo stepped so his body was now facing Merrik, "You and me are similar in some ways, one:" he threw his coat off revealing a now bare chest, and removing his throwing knives and launching one into Merrik's shoulder, "We both like to hide our weapons, and second we're both damn fast." As soon as the words left Apollo's lips he appeared behind Merrik, where he grabbed him by the shoulder and span them so now he was in between Merrik and Lena.

Even for a speed demon himself his eyes wasn't able to keep up with Apollo's movements. As he flew backwards he gave Apollo a good long stare. There eyes eternally synced with one another. Before he was able to hit the ground he once again appeared behind Lena piercing the blade he was so wonderfully given through her skin. Distorting one of her ribs, affecting her breathing. He then removed the knife as slowly and gently as he could realizing he had gone too far by attacking this girl in involved with there conflict. He didn't have to look up to know Apollo was in emotional shock. The fact that he stood still and didn't try to kill Merrik momentarily told it all. But realizing the Inferno family had taken something from Merrik that he could never get back he felt as if justice had somewhat been set. He looks up at Apollo saying the first thing that came to his mind.He didnt mean to smile when he said it but it happened that way. "Oops"

As lena sees apollos and her own blood on the ground and on his jacket she falls on her knees and starts to panic while she is saying "no no no not again not now" in a slim voice while she is holding her hands on her head as if she is trying to stop something from coming out

Apollo's eyes widened. Fists clenched. Body stiffened. All senses focused onto one subject... Merrik. "Oh you've fucked up now." He launched himself forwards, using the same speed as he had before landing his hands around the throat of Merrik, launching them both across the field. Using the already gained momentum he maneuvered himself to the back of Merrik where he used his body weight to flip Merrik down into the ground where Apollo continued to used the stunned body of Merrik as a surf board. Jumping off just before he came to a stand still.

Merrik manages to flip the lycan off his body and delivers a kick to Apollo's face knocking him into the ground. Merrik runs to Lena,Whispers "Im sorry", takes off his T-shirt revealing his soft chest and puts pressure to her chest. He knows his time was limited the now pissed lycan would be behind him at any given minute. "Nyx! Help her! Now!" He instantly turns hearing something coming.

Apollo recovered himself from the kick turning back to face Merrik, his deep blue eyes now a deep blood red. The vains in his chest and arms bulging from his slowly building rage. He turns to pick up a near by rock and launches it towards Merrik who now approached him, the rock struck his legs, knocking him to the floor. In a flash Apollo now stood above Merrik where he picked him up by the head and launched him into a near by tree. Sweat dripping from his head.

Merrik now not giving a damn about the safety of Lena stares at the lycan and hisses. He then taunts the raged Apollo "Bring it b****! Show me that lycan power!" He roars now removing his gloves and vanishing with the wind. The winds currents oddly changing in different direction with each breeze. A whisper in the wind reached apollo's ears peace by peace "Match..........my............speed............Lycan."

Apollo smirked. Sharpening his vision he scanned for imperfections in the air, then he spotted in, a section of air that was moving a little faster than the others. Dust. It gives speed a weakness. He launched himself in front of path, catching Merrik by the arm. So much momentum... what was Apollo going to do with it all? He twisted his body and launched Merrik's head into the ground. His head continued to grind across the ground splitting the skin open in places. Being genetically enhanced creatures both Vampire's and Werewolves skins were thinker and tougher than a normal humans, but all the force and grinding the impact was doing to Merrik's skull was too much. Merrik's body came to a stand still and fell to the ground, belly up. "Mess with me fine." He gripped Merrik by the hair and lifted his body back up "But when you hurt someone I care about..." Apollo took two steps and once again threw Merrik's body like a rag-doll across the field.

"Bravo bravo" speaks Merrik surprisingly speaks into existence. He gets up. You killed my mother and now I'm going to kill you! He extends his left arm towards Apollo but then puts it down and closes his eyes. "Your not worth it........No matter what you did.........."

Apollo's eyes open wide, "You want to talk to me about killing. What come to finish the job you started?" Apollo hunched over, letting the Lycan blood flow, Fur began to come form Apollo's skin. His teeth sharpened, claws extended, till he had become his Lycan form. Letting out a blood curdling raw, pounding his fists into the ground. Reaching to his left Apollo ripped the tree out of the ground and hurled that towards, Merrik had grown use to Apollo's use of projectiles and was easily able to dodge it, but he wasn't expecting Apollo to be on the other side of the tree. Apollo landed on Merrik's chest, his claws digging into the bare flesh of his chest.

"......... So it was you........."

"WHAT?!" Apollo roared

Nyx sighed. She really hated fighting strangers. "You guys are like a highschool football team, abusing cheerleaders". It wasn't the time for jokes, given lena who seems to b having some trouble. It was the right choice to keep her powers hidden after all. She softly put her hands together and focused on lena's wound. It was safe to say she didn't possess the same regenarative abilities. There was a sort of light under Nyx 's feet as she worked on fixing the damaged tissues. She then proceeded to tightening the carbon atoms on her skin to harden it and thought it wise to do the same to herself.
"Do you mind telling what you were thinking? Going on a lycan killing spree?" She glanced over at(... What was his name again?... Murrik? Merrik?..

Ignores nyx. "So you admit to killing my mother is that correct Apollo?" Now finding the strength he gets up.

Apollo stands tensed. "Killed your mother? No you killed my family!" Apollo's glare locked on Merrik.

"So low to cover up the fact that you killed my mother with a cheap lie like that.........You disgust me!"

as the two argues lena gets up from the ground without looking at them only facing nyx with closed eyes as she opens them its not lenas normal eyes filled with emotion these eyes were cold and seemed like they were able to stare right through a person lena then turned around to look at the boys and she said "male bonding how cute" with a voice about a cold as her eyes
